The Gallivan Center
A great event location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City for concerts and festivals, weddings, corporate parties and of course ice skating in the winter.  Gallivan Center programming includes Viva SLC, Rock 'n Ribs, the Lunch Bunch Concert Series, Wednesday Rocks Concerts, Radio Disney Days along with groups that rent the plaza and offer public events such as the SLC Arts Council's Twilight Concert Series.

Twilight Concert Series
This concert series is provided free of charge by the Salt Lake City Arts Council.  For summer of 2010, Pioneer Park will be the home of the Twilight Series for eight straight Thursdays starting in July bringing a variety of national artists.

Downtown Alliance
The Downtown Alliance is a non-profit organization serving the downtown property owners, businesses, and residents by promoting Downtown Salt Lake City as the premier cultural, business, economic, and entertainment center throughout the Intermountain West.

Salt Lake Marathon
The Salt Lake City Marathon was among the 12 new favorites listed by Runner's World in their January 2005 Marathon Guide.

Farmers Market
Held on Saturday's at Pioneer Park, the Downtown Farmers' Market is a local growers’ market, featuring fresh produce from over 70 Utah farmers. In addition to the produce, the Market also offers a variety of fresh baked breads and pastries, cheeses, meat and seafood, jams and honeys, house and garden plants, arranged planters, and numerous handmade arts & crafts. Unique food vendors also are a part of the Market, offering prepared foods and beverages.

The Harvest Market, Tuesday's edition of the Farmer's Market will also return in 2010.

Peoples Market
The People’s Market is sponsored by SLC Corp as an opportunity for residents, local growers, and city-wide consumers to come together for good food and great bargains on locally produced items.  The People's Market is held on Sundays at Jordan Park, site of the International Peace Gardens.

Salt Lake International Jazz Festival
This festival has become one of the top destination jazz festivals in the country, attracting visitors from all over the world.  This festival is also a huge local hit with Utah residents.  The event is free and filled with a wide variety of jazz styles including many first-class artists.
